近日，文化纽带社（Cultural Bonding Society, CBS）举办了一场趣味十足的澳大利亚主题活动，同学们在外教William老师的带领下一起“云游”了这个神秘的国度。刚开始，许多同学还有点紧张，不过William老师幽默风趣，在他生动的表演中，大家很快放下拘谨，兴致勃勃地投入到互动环节。
The Cultural Bonding Society (CBS) recently hosted a lively Australian-themed activity, offering students a virtual tour of this fascinating country. The activity was led by the international teacher William. Though some students were a bit nervous at first, William’s witty remarks and animated gestures quickly put everyone at ease, and soon they were fully engaged in the interactive session.
活动可不只是动动嘴皮子，大家还要动手呢！同学们认识了袋鼠、鸭嘴兽、大白鲨、袋熊、考拉等各种澳大利亚独特的小动物，不仅记住了它们的英文名字，还用提前准备好的小纸片拼出了它们的模样。在一片欢声笑语中，大家分组合作，拼得不亦乐乎。最终，在William老师的帮助和鼓励下，各组都圆满完成任务！活动最后，William老师还准备了许多精彩的动物视频，仿佛让这些澳大利亚的小可爱们“现身”活动现场。
But it wasn’t all about talking—there was plenty of hands-on fun too! Students were introduced to a variety of unique Australian animals, including kangaroos, platypuses, great white sharks, wombats, and koalas. Not only did they learn the English names of these animals, but they also used pre-prepared paper cut-outs to piece together the shapes of these creatures. Amidst laughter and lively group collaboration, everyone enthusiastically completed their tasks. With William’s encouragement and guidance, each group succeeded brilliantly. To top it off, William treated the students to an array of fascinating animal videos, bringing the adorable Aussie wildlife “to life” in the room.
